RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt the draft Resolution approving the Charitable
Gambling Premise Permit for RAAA at Las Tortillas located at 15051 Crestone Avenue,
Rosemount.
SUMMARY
Rosemount Area Athletic Association ( "RAAA ") is requesting consideration for a Gambling Premise
Permit at Las Tortillas, 15051 Crestone Avenue, in Rosemount. RAAA currently holds a Gambling
Premise Permit at Fireside, 3410 150t Street West, in Rosemount. RAAA is in the process of submitting
their application with the State of Minnesota which'requires approval from the City Council to proceed. .
RAAA is a volunteer organization that serves the children of Rosemount through athletic programs
designed to develop both social and athletic skills. RAAA organizes athletic programs for Rosemount
youth by providing supervision, instruction, uniforms and special equipment for activities.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the above - stated motion.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHARITABLE GAMBLING PREMISE PERMIT FOR
ROSEMOUNT AREA ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION AT LAS TORTILLAS,
15051 CRESTONE AVENUE, ROSEMOUNT
WHEREAS, the Rosemount Area Athletic Association ( "RAAA ") has requested a Charitable
Gambling Premise Permit at Las Tortillas, 15051 Crestone Avenue, in Rosemount; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, hereby
approves the Charitable Gambling Premise Permit application submitted by the RAAA to conduct
charitable gambling at Las Tortillas, 15051 Crestone Avenue, in Rosemount.
ADOPTED this 20th day of December, 2011 by the City Council of the City of Rosemount.
