RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Motion to approve the 2012 licenses for the solid waste hauling firms listed below to haul
solid waste in the City of Rosemount.
ISSUE
All solid waste haulers wishing to do business in the city limits of Rosemount must obtain a solid waste
haulers license (as required by Ordinance 5 -1 -5) from the City of Rosemount.
BACKGROUND
As required by Ordinance 5 -1 -5, solid waste haulers are required to obtain a license from the City.
The haulers listed below have submitted all of the necessary information and have paid the $320.00
license fee.
1. Allied Waste Systems of the Twin Cities Residential, Commercial, Construction
2. Tennis Roll Off, L.L.C. Construction
3. Dick's Sanitation Services, Inc. /LSI Residential, Commercial, Construction
4. Alpha Container Services & Recycling Dumpster
5. Waste Management Residential, Commercial, Construction
6. Ray Anderson & Sons Co. Inc. Construction
7. Highland Sanitation & Recycling, Inc Residential, Commercial, Roll Offs
8. Randy's Sanitation, Inc. Residential, Construction
9. Nitti Sanitation Inc. Residential, Commercial
10. Lloyd's Construction Services, Inc. Construction
SUMMARY
Staff requests that the City Council consider approving the license applications for the solid waste hauling
firms listed above.
