BACKGROUND: At the Council meeting on February 6, 2012, authorization was, given to present offers for temporary and g rY � P p rY permanent easements needed to complete, the Diamond Path Trail Improvements. To date, agreements have been made with two properties as shown on the attached map. Negotiations are currently in progress with the remaining four property owners, agreements for these remaining properties will be presented at a future Council meeting. The proposed payment to John and Sherry Kromschroeder includes compensation for temporary easements and damage to adjacent trees. The appraised value for these items is $1,200. 4 , The proposed payment to Lottie and Charles Rike includes compens for temporary easement and damage to their fire pit and hedges. The appraised value of the damages was $850 but this value did not include damages to hedges within the existing right -of -way. Through negotiations if was determined that the,amount of compensation for damages to the hedges is $1137. This amount has been included with the recommended compensation. , Signatures for the easements and damages have been received by the City.
