ATTACHMENTS: List of Names for Officers, Committee APPROVED BY: Members and Coordinators RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve the Training Coordinators, Fire Prevention Personnel, Safety Officer, Captains and Lieutenants as presented for the next year. BACKGROUND The suggested names for officers, committee membexs and coordinatoxs for positions on the Fire Depaxtment are attached. Annually, according to City policy, these individuals need to be approved by the City Council. With input fxom Assistant Chief Jim Voelker, as well as my own evaluations, a decision was made to select these FixefighteYS to serve in the capacities indicated for the coming year. The Safety Officer, which is the function of the Assistant Fire Chief, needs to be approved officially as required by OSHA. SUMMARY 'The Fire Department looks to the City Council to ratify these appointments.
