Rosemount is fortunate to have a laYge number of young people who reach the highest levels of Scouting
programs. The "Eagle Scout" designation is the highest advancement rank for Boy Scouts.
The City Council tonight continues its tradirion of honoring these accomplishments by commending a
Rosemount resident who recendy achieved the Eagle rank.
John Munson organized a project to re-landscape the entryway at St. Thomas Becket Church in
Eagan. He cleared out dead shrubbery, replaced it with 94 plants, and supervised a crew of 32,
working duYing two weekends. John is a student at Eagan High School and is considering Iowa
State or Kansas for college.
