RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to declare the item listed in the executive summary as
surplus property and for staff to appropriately dispose of this item.
ISSUE
The Police Department is asking that the City Council declare the scanner listed below as surplus
property. This declaration will authorize staff to properly dispose of this item.
BACKGROUND
The scanner listed below is no longer usable within the City's operations due to budgeted technology updates.
Rather than paying to recycle this scanner, this item will be sold at the next police auction.
Equipment to be declared as surplus is as follows: Tag #001724, Ricoh is200e Scanner, Model G422 -17, Serial
Number Q2856700174.
SUMMARY
Recommend the above motion.
