REGULAR MEETING PROCEEDINGS
JULY 17, 2012
CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Rosemount City Council was held
on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 2875 145 Street West,
Rosemount, Minnesota.
Mayor Droste called the meeting to order with Council Members DeBettignies, Shoe - Corrigan,
Weisensel and Kearney attending. Staff present included City Administrator Johnson, City Clerk
Domeier, Director of Parks and Recreation Schultz, City Attorney LeFevere, Director of Public
Works /City Engineer Brotzler and Assistant City Administrator Foster. The Pledge of Allegiance
was said.
ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIOS TO AGENDA
City Administrator Johnson stated there were no additions or corrections to the Agenda.
Motion by Droste. Second by DeBettignies.
Motion to Adopt the Agenda.
Ayes: 5
Nays: 0. Motion carried.
PRESENTATIONS, PROCLAMATIONS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
3.a. Special Event Update — Leprechaun Days
Maureen Geraghty Bouchard of the Leprechaun Days Committee provided an update on the
schedule of events.
CONSENT AGENDA
Mayor Droste pulled item 6.1. Receive Bids /Award Contract — Diamond Path Trail Improvements,
City Project 434.
Motion by DeBettignies. Second by Shoe - Corrigan.
Motion to Approve the Consent Agenda with the removal of 6.1.

Ayes: DeBettignies, Shoe - Corrigan, Droste, Weisensel, Kearney
Nays: None. Motion carried.
6.1. Receive Bids /Award Contract — Diamond Path Trail Improvements, City Project 434
Mayor Droste requested that staff provide information about the project. Director of Public
Works /City Engineer Brotzler provided background on the project and information on the
proposed trail improvements.
Motion by Weisensel. Second by DeBettignies.
Motion to Motion to Adopt a Resolution Receiving Bids and Awarding Contract for the
Diamond Path Trail Improvements, City Project 434.
Ayes: Shoe - Corrigan, Droste, Weisensel, Kearney, DeBettignies
Nays: None. Motion carried. (Resolution 2012 - 50)
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Mayor Droste reviewed the calendar of events. The next City Council meeting will be held on
Monday, August 6, 2012.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the City Council and upon a motion by Droste,
second by Weisensel, the meeting was adjourned at 7:46 p.m.
