CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the Rosemount City Council was held at
10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 13, 2010 in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 2875 145 Street West,
Rosemount.
Mayor Droste called the meeting to order with Council Members Bills, Shoe Corrigan and Weisensel
attending. Council Member DeBettignies was absent. Staff members present included City Clerk
Domeier, City Administrator Johnson and Communications Coordinator Cox. The Pledge of
Allegiance was said.
NEW BUSINESS
2.a. Canvass of the August 10, 2010 Primary Election Returns
City Clerk Domeier confirmed the results of the August 10, 2010 primary to set the candidates for
two seats on the Council. Four residents will appear on the ballot in November: Mark DeBettignies,
Tim Judy, Joe Kurle, and Kim Shoe Corrigan. 1,978 people voted in the primary at Rosemount's
seven precincts or by absentee ballot. Ms. Domeier stated that turnout for the first -ever City primary
was 15
Motion by Bills. Second by Weisensel.

Motion to declare the results of the August 10, 2010 Primary Election Returns.
Ayes: Shoe Corrigan, Droste, Weisensel, Bills
Nays: None. Absent: DeBettignies. Motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the City Council and upon a motion by Droste,
second by Bills, the meeting was adjourned at 10:04 a.m.
