REGULAR MEETING PROCEEDINGS
DECEMBER 21, 2010
CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Rosemount City Council was held
on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 2875 145t Street
West, Rosemount.
Mayor Droste called the meeting to order with Council Members DeBettignies, Shoe Corrigan,
Weisensel and Bills attending. Staff present included City Administrator Johnson, Communications
Coordinator Cox, City Clerk Domeier, Director of Public Works /City Engineer Brotzler,
Community Development Director Lindquist, Director of Parks and Recreation Schultz and Chief
of Police Kalstabakken.
ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO AGENDA
City Administrator Johnsons stated there were no proposed additions or corrections.
Motion by Droste. Second by DeBettignies.
Motion to adopt the Agenda.
Ayes: 5
Nays: 0. Motion carried.
PRESENTATIONS, PROCLAMATIONS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
3.a. Commendation for attainment of Eagle Scout Rank
Mayor Droste presented a certificate to Eagle Scout Lamoreaux.
3.b. Commendation of Rep. Phil Sterner
Mayor Droste presented a plaque to Representative Phil Sterner.

PUBLIC HEARING
7.a. Off -sale Liquor License Application MGM Wine Spirits, Inc.
City Clerk Domeier summarized the information provided in the staff report. She stated that MGM
would be opening immediately after receiving approval from the Minnesota Department of Public
Safety.
Mike Maglich, owner and operator, was present to answer any questions. Mr. Maglich stated that
MGM was excited to be re- opening in Rosemount.
Mayor Droste opened the public hearing. No public comment was received.
Motion by Droste. Second by Weisensel.
Motion to close the Public Hearing.
Ayes: 5
Nays: 0. Motion carried.
Motion by DeBettignies. Second by Shoe Corrigan.
Motion to Approve an Off -Sale Liquor License for MGM Wine Spirits, Inc. DBA MGM
Wine Spirits for the premise located at 14865 South Robert Trail.
Ayes: Shoe Corrigan, Droste, Weisensel, Bills, DeBettignies.
Nays: None. Motion carried.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Mayor and City Council Members thanked Council Member Bills for his service to Rosemount.
Mayor Droste reviewed the calendar of events. The next regular meeting will be held on January 4,

There being no further business to come before the City Council and upon a motion by Droste,
second by Bills, the meeting was adjourned at 7:46 p.m.
