Rosemount continues to benefit from a large number of young people who reach the highest levels of
Scouting programs. The "Eagle Scout" designation is the highest advancement rank for Boy Scouts.
The City Council tonight continues its tradition of honoring these accomplishments by commending a
Rosemount resident who recently achieved the Eagle rank.
Benjamin Kreitz organized a 350 -hour project replace the entrance sign at Red Pine Elementary
School. He hand built the new sign, worked with other Scouts and adults to install it, and
performed landscaping to create an attractive monument for the school he attended as a child.
Benjamin was a salutatorian in his graduating class at Rosemount High School and will leave later
this week to attend the University of Michigan and study chemistry, possibly on the way to a pre-
med major.
