RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve a 90 day medical leave for Rob
Sciamanda.
SUMMARY
Firefighter Sciamanda has been on a medical leave from his duties since July 8,2102 and is at this time in
need of extending his leave to December 5,2012. According to the fire department personnel policy a
medical leave of more than 60 days requires city council approval. Medical documentation has been
received to warrant approval of the additional 90 days.
I am requesting approval for an extension of medical leave for Rob Sciamanda from September 7 to
December 5,2012.
