SUMMARY
Valerie Ege has served on the Planning Commission from 2004 - 2012,with several years at the Chair.
Ms. Ege has been a valuable asset to the Commission due to her active participation during meetings,
grasp of local priorities, and her understanding and planning and zoning issues.
Ms. Ege was involved in the planning approval of many developments including Rosemount Crossing,
Carbury Townhomes, the Robert Trail Library,Waterford Commons and the Prestwick Place and
Greystone housing developments. Ms. Ege also worked on the sign ordinance text amendment and the
2030 Comprehensive Plan. With the resignation of Ms. Ege we are losing some of our institutional
history;Ms Ege worked with 11 different Planning Commissioners during her eight years of service.
The City Council and staff would like to thank Ms. Ege for serving her community and helping to shape a
better future for Rosemount.
