9.a. Redesignation of General�Fund Balance
Finance Director l�1ay summarized the informadon provided in the staff report. Gouncil Membex
Shoe-Corrigan questioned the special funds for health insurance. l�fr. May explained the trends and
. averages for the health insurance premiums. Council Member Kearney questioned if the funds can
be adjusted at a future day. Mr. May stated that the assignmenf can be changed at any time. �

- Debt Service Obligation and to the Building CIP Fund,and Assignuig Funds for Health

Mayor DYOSte provided ari update from the Plarining Commission held last week and reviewed the
calendar of events. Tlie City Council will also be attending the following events: R.ilibon Cutting at
" Green Leaf Tobacco, 3805 158`h St.W.,at 4 p.m: on Ma'rch 7;Ribbon Cutting at DR Horton model
home, 14178 Abbeyfield Avenue,at 3 p.m. on 1Vlarch 8;American Legion Birthday Gala, 14590
Burma Avenue, at�5:30 p.m.on Maxch 10;Ribbon Cutting at Curves,Waterford Commons Suite
107,at 4 p.m. on March 15;and I'rish for a D`ay Soiree, 13885 South Robert Trail, at 6:30 p.m. on
March 17.The nextCity Council meeting will be held on Tuesday„March 20. `
