ISSUE
Chair Weisensel requested that each Port Authority member take an adopted goal and review the
implementation strategies the Port Authority had approved. Members should be reviewing whether
the goal is still valid and if there are additional goals and strategies that should be investigated in the
upcoming years. The following is the listing of members and their chosen tasks:
Existing business retention and growth —Carl Peterson
Downtown Redevelopment — Vanessa Demuth
Commercial Amenities — Mary Riley
UMore — Bill Droste
Industrial /Business /Technology Park —Bob Leuth
Communications, Marketing, Regional Cooperation — Jeff Weisensel
Planning and Development — Dan Wolf
You are asked to be prepared to discuss your respective goals and discuss new short and
intermediate strategies. Any insights into prioritization of implementation strategies would be
appreciated.
