RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve the Lakeville Grill Inc. d /b /a Babe's Sports
Bar & Grill On -Sale License on Public Premise Liquor License to serve intoxicating
beverages valid March 5, 2013 through December 31, 2013.
SUMMARY
Lakeville Grill, Inc. d /b /a Babe's Sports Bar & Grill ( "Babe's ") has made application for an On -Sale
License on Public Premise liquor license. The required $350.00 fee and insurance documents have
been submitted. The license term will run from date of approval to December 31, 2013. Babe's has
previously held a public premise liquor license and therefore staff recommends approval of the
above - referenced motion. Babe's intends to serve liquor at Community Center and Steeple Center
events.
City Code 3 -1 -15 On -Sale License on Public Premise states the City Council may issue to the holder
of an on -sale intoxicating liquor license issued by the city or a municipality adjacent to the city, a
license to allow the dispensing of intoxicating liquor at any convention, banquet, conference,
meeting or social affair conducted on the premises of a sports, convention or cultural facility owned
by the City. No public hearing is required for the granting of an on -sale license on public premises.
