RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to Close the Public Hearing for the Vacation of the
Drainage and Utility Easements within Outlot A, Prestwick Place 5th Addition and Outlot A,
Prestwick Place 6th Addition.
SUMMARY
On April 16, D.R. Horton had requested that the public hearing for the drainage and utility easement
vacation to facilitate the development of the Prestwick Place 8t1i Addition be continued to May 7, 2013.
Currently, D.R. Horton is requesting that the public hearing be closed, but D.R. Horton is not withdrawing
the Prestwick Place 8`h Addition request. By requesting the public hearing be closed, D.R. Horton
understands that Prestwick Place 8th will not be reviewed at the May 21 City Council meeting. The 120 day
review period for Prestwick Place 8`h expires on July 3, which would allow the application to be reviewed at
either of the June City Council meetings or the first City Council meeting in July.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council close the public hearing for the drainage and utility easement
vacation.
