Rosemount is fortunate to have a large number of young people who reach the highest levels of Scouting
programs. The "Eagle Scout" designation is the highest advancement rank for Boy Scouts.
The City Council tonight continues its tradition of honoring these accomplishments by commending two
Rosemount students who recently achieved the Eagle rank.
Terren Ausen assembled a team of volunteers to improve a couple of the tee boxes at the
Brockway disc golf course in Rosemount. He is a senior graduating from Rosemount High School
next month. Terren plans to study conservation at Vermillion Community College in the
Boundary Waters this fall.
Jack Anthony Spadafore created a project involving the classification, mapping, and identification
of buildings located in the Dakota City Heritage Village at the Dakota County Fairgrounds in
Farmington. Jack will graduate next month from Rosemount High and the School of
Environmental Studies. Jack will attend the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point in the fall,
majoring in Natural Resource Management.
