RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the appointment of fire department officers as
recommended by Chief Schroeder in the attached memo.
BACKGROUND
The City Council is required to approve the appointment of officers, committee members and coordinator
positions in the Fire Department. Chief Schroeder and Assistant Chief Voelker have completed interviews
and made their recommendations. The appointments will be for one year ending April 30, 2014.
RECOMMENDATION
I recommend that the City Council approve the appointments as submitted.
