RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to accept a donation in the amount of $40.00 to
the D.A.R.E. Program from St. Joseph's Catholic School.
BACKGROUND
The D.A.R.E. donation account has been set up for the purpose of receiving donations received that are
designated for the D.A.R.E. Program. Expenditures from this account are only used for D.A.R.E. or
similar type programs.
ISSUE
The Council is being asked to accept a donation in the amount of $40.00 from St. Joseph's Catholic
School. Donated funds are from the St. Joseph's D.A.R.E. students, class of 2013.
These funds are being designated for the purpose of helping to fund future programs like D.A.R.E. and
costs associated with them.

Staff recommends the acceptance of the donation.
