ISSUE
The design work for the green fields to be built on the property donated to the City by Flint Hills
Resources is complete and initial improvement projects are out to bid. The bid closes on Friday, June 14
and staff expects to have the bid results to the City Council shortly thereafter to award a contract.
The in -kind grading that is being provided by Dakota Aggregates should start around the third week in
June (weather permitting). The grading needs to be finished by July 15 so that the other contractors can
get into the site and start work on their portion of the project.
This is an update for the City Council and an opportunity to ask questions regarding the project.
