RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt the draft Resolution approving the Charitable
Gambling Premise Permit for Irish Football Boosters at Celt's located at 14506 South
Robert Trail.
SUMMARY
Irish Football Boosters is requesting consideration for a Gambling Premise Permit at Celt's, 14506 South
Robert Trail, in Rosemount. Irish Football Boosters is in the process of submitting their application with
the State of Minnesota which requires approval from the City Council to proceed. The activity will assist
Irish Football Boosters in fundraising and help support their mission.
Jonathan Van Wyk will serve as the gambling manager. As part of the application process, the City
conducts a background investigation for the purpose of evaluating the application. The Police
Department found no reason to withhold the granting of a premise permit to Irish Football Boosters.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the above - stated motion.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHARITABLE GAMBLING PREMISE PERMIT
FOR IRISH FOOTBALL BOOSTERS AT CELT'S,
14506 SOUTH ROBERT TRAIL, ROSEMOUNT
WHEREAS, the Irish Football Boosters have requested a Charitable Gambling Premise Permit at
Celt's, 14506 South Robert Trail, in Rosemount; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rosemount, hereby
approves the Charitable Gambling Premise Permit application submitted by the Irish Football
Boosters to conduct charitable gambling at Celt's, 14506 South Robert Trail, in Rosemount.
ADOPTED this 18th day of Jun3, 2013 by the City Council of the City of Rosemount.
