RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to Adopt a Resolution Authorizing a Feasibility Report
for Bacardi Avenue Improvements, City Project 452
BACKGROUND:
Lennar Corporation has requested the preparation of a feasibility report for improvements to Bacardi
Avenue. As part of the Bella Vista development review, it was identified that roadway, pedestrian, and
utility improvements are necessary.
Bacardi Avenue is currently a gravel road and is identified in the Comprehensive Plan as a minor collector
roadway. The feasibility report will extend from Bonaire Path West to 130t" Street West and will address
street and utility improvements as well as improvement costs and project funding.
At this time funds have been received from the developer to cover costs associated with the preparation of
the feasibility report. A map depicting the project area is attached.
SUMMARY:
Staff requests Council approval of the attached resolution to authorize the preparation of a feasibility
report for Bacardi Avenue Improvements, City Project 452.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR
BACARDI AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT 452
WHEREAS, the City Council deemed it necessary to investigate the feasibility of Bacardi Avenue
Improvements, City Project 452
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Rosemount hereby directed
the Staff to have the necessary feasibility report prepared for the Bacardi Avenue Improvements, City
Project 452.
ADOPTED this 18th day of June, 2013.
