ISSUE
Staff intends to make application to the Livable Communities Demonstration Account for a project
grant to finance enhancements to the CDA's senior housing project. Part of the application process
requires a resolution from the governing body, in this case the City Council. Because the Port
Authority has ownership of the site, it would seem prudent to have the Port Authority also pass a
resolution of support. The Council will be asked to approve their resolution at the Council meeting
on the 18`h. The final grant application has not been completed but is due by July 1, 2013 at the
Metropolitan Council.
RECOMMENDATION
Motion to approve the resolution.
