Eagle Scout Project - For his Eagle Scout project, Noah Smith and his crew of volunteers constructed three hard surfaced tee pads at the disc golf course over the weekend of June 1 -2. They worked on both the forward and back tees for hole number one and the forward tee for hole number two. Noah provided the pavers and his crew provided the labor to dig out the tee pad areas and install the base materials and the pavers. The improvements at the course will be very much appreciated by golfers this summer. Most of the tee pad areas on the course are just hard packed soil which gets slippery and muddy in wet weather. Noah's is the second Eagle Scout project of this kind to be done at the disc golf course. There are nine holes at the course and each hole has a forward and a back tee. So far, Eagle Scout projects have improved five of the 18 tee areas. AGENDA SECTION: AGENDA ITEM: Director's Report New Business AGENDA NO. PREPARED BY: Dan Schultz, Parks & Recreation Director 7 a.
