RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve street closings for the Big Wheel Races
and the Parade as part of the 2013 Leprechaun Days Celebration.
ISSUE
The City Council recently approved a service agreement with the Leprechaun Days Committee. As in years
past, street closing requests have been brought to the City Council for approval.
SUMMARY
The current requests for street closings include:
1. Big Wheel, Trike and Scooter Races plus Penny Scramble - Wednesday, July 24 - 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Burma Ave. from 145`" St. to 146`" St.
2. Parade - Saturday, July 27 - 9:30 am to 2:15 pm
Starting at RHS — Chili Ave. south to 145``' St., 145`h St. from Cimarron Ave. to Cameo Ave.,
Cameo Ave. north to RMS
