ISSUE
As the Port Authority is aware, the City has been working with Wally Johnson of Stonebridge
Communities for the last several months on joint development of the city -owned property north of
the Steeple Center. The site is designated for a private senior housing project and a public activity
center. Under the Port Authority work plan, approval of the plans was tentatively scheduled for this
meeting. However, the plans are not complete, although documents are at a detailed concept stage.
These are provided for the Port Authority's information.
If the Port Authority members have any questions or comments about the project, this meeting
would be a good opportunity to receive input, prior to finalizing plans for formal review and
approval by the City.
