RECOMMENDED ACTION: Review the latest drawings and design for the four tennis
courts to be installed in Erickson Park
BACKGROUND
Final plans for four courts in Erickson Park are nearly complete and staff wants to review them with
the Council before proceeding with bidding of the project. Dan Schultz continues to be in contract
with the United States Tennis Association and local resident Mike Goldammer of the USTA Northern
division and is still hopeful about getting the maximum grant ($50,000) from the USTA. A final
decision on the grant funding cannot be received until the final plans and specs are done and
submitted to them. The nearly final plans will be either sent to you on Monday or brought to the
meeting that evening.
