BACKGROUND
The Met Council is required to re -align its districts in the third year following each national census. The
Legislature approved new districts earlier this year. Rosemount is now a part of District 15 which also
includes Eagan, Inver Grove Heights and Burnsville.
The Met Council representative for District 15 is Steven Chavez of Eagan. Rosemount was previously
represented by Wendy Wulff of Lakeville. Since Mr. Chavez has not previously represented Rosemount,
he expressed interest in coming to introduce himself, meet the Council and discuss current issues relating
to the Met Council.
