ISSUE
When the Port Authority approved the Goals Work Plan earlier this year, September was slated for
an update on the South Gateway Revitalization Planning Study. Due to schedules for the various
members, it was decided that the task force would not convene until after school started. The group
will hold their first meeting this coming Monday the 16`h in the Council Chambers at 6:30. The
meeting is open to the public and as a reminder for the group, Bob Leuth is the Port Authority
representative. The Mayor and Council member DeBettignies are council representatives on the task
force.
The other items scheduled for September is the discussion of the Genz Ryan property and listing.
Staff is hoping to provide a verbal update to the Port Authority about the CDA's interest in a
portion of the site for affordable senior housing.
