RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to Approve Wine (including Strong Beer) and 3.2%
Malt Liquor On-Sale Liquor Licenses for House of Curry, LLC DBA House of Curry for the
premise located at 3420 150th Street, Suite 119 subject to receipt of license fees and the
issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy from the Building Official.
ISSUE
Vini Dissanayake of House of Curry,LLC has applied for Wine (including Strong Beer) and 3.2%Malt
Liquor On-Sale Liquor License for the House of Curry premise located at 3420 150th Street, Suite 119.
Mr. Dissanayake will be leasing the space from Rosemount Properties,LLC and operating it as House of
Curry. He is sole officer and owner of House of Curry,LLC.
SUMMARY
Vini Dissanayake submitted most of the required liquor license application materials. Staff is still waiting
to receive the license fees. A background investigation was completed by the Police Department. Based
upon the results of the background investigation, police staff found no reason to deny the liquor license.
Because the applicant is still making modifications to the space, the license will be conditioned upon
receiving a Certificate of Occupancy from the Building Official.
Staff recommends approval of the above-state motion, subject to conditions.
