ISSUE
The Business Appreciation Luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, November 19`h, at the Community Center
Banquet Hall. At the time this staff report was prepared, there are 58 people who RSVP'd representing 31
businesses. Staff also invited representatives from UMore, DCR Chamber of Commerce, Dakota County
Commissioners Chris Gerlach and Nancy Schouweiler, our Minnesota State Representative Anna Wills
and State Senator Greg Clausen. Our guest speaker at this year's event is Laurie Crow of the Open to
Business initiative. Staff will provide a verbal update at the Port Authority meeting Tuesday evening on
how the event went.
