RECOMMENDED ACTION: Presentation of certificate of commendation
Rosemount is fortunate to have a large number of young people who reach the highest levels of Scouting
programs. The `Eagle Scout" designation is the highest advancement rank for Boy Scouts.
The City Council tonight continues its tradition of honoring these accomplishments by commending a
Rosemount student who achieved the Eagle rank.
Nicholas Jafolla worked to improve the environment outside the Good Samaritan Society care
facility in Inver Grove Heights. He re-landscaped a spot on one side of the building that had no
previous use for the residents. His project added flowers,bushes,grass, and walking paths. He
was assisted by friends in and out of Scouting, and got guidance from adults. Nick graduated from
Rosemount High School and is home on break from Iowa State University,where he is studying
architecture.'.
