ISSUE
Under the heading of communication, marketing and regional cooperation, there is an adopted goal to
continue collaborations with the Dakota County Regional Chamber. Some time ago Vicki Stute attended a
Port Authority meeting and indicated that the Chamber Board would be soon conducting a goal setting
activity and that she could update the Port members after that event. Ms. Stute will be in attendance at
Tuesday's meeting to discuss the direction of the Chamber Board. Please review the Chamber's new
website (http://ivww.dcrchamber.com/) as well as the handouts prior to the meeting to prepare for the
upcoming discussion.

Overall Goal: To be the leading public policy advocate for
businesses in Dakota County; to be a strategic partner in
initiatives that improve the business climate; and to provide
valued services to our members, thereby promoting
economic growth.
o Networking and Professional Development
Overall Goal: Develop, implement and evaluate programs
that provide members with opportunities to Network and
promote their businesses, as well as provide professional
development and education opportunities.

Overall Goal: Engage in a variety of local and regional
initiatives to enhance the economic vitality of our members
through workforce development and business retention

Overall Goal - To provide for the membership growth and
development needs of the Dakota County Regional
Chamber of Commerce in order to ensure a financial base
