RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to recommend the City of Rosemount collect parks
dedication fees for 60 units of assisted living and independent living units but not for the 30
memory care/care suite units and that the fees should be based on the approved City Fee
Schedule at the time the fees are paid.
ISSUE
Included in the packet are the most recent site plan, elevation drawings and floor plans of the proposed
Senior Housing and Activity Center that is being planned for the Steeple Center site at the corner of 143`d
Street and Highway 3. The Activity Center space is roughly 5,000 square feet on the ground level and
roughly 3,800 square feet on the second level.
Staff is interested in receiving any feedback the Commission members may have on the new activity center
space being proposed.
The Senior Housing Complex will include 90 units. 60 units will be either assisted or independent living
and 30 units will be memory care/care suite units.
Staff is recommending the City of Rosemount collect parks dedication fees for 60 units of assisted living
