ISSUE
Several members of the city council have visited with representatives of Buxton regarding their ability to
aggregate retail data which could benefit the community in our marketing efforts. The proposal included in
the packet is to provide the data as well as provide potential retailer specific information. Since economic
development, specifically retail services,is a high priority for the Council it was determined that a
presentation should occur so Council and Port Authority members can see the quality of the product and
ask additional questions prior to consideration of the proposal. Brittany Roark,Director of Sales at Buxton
will be attending the meeting and making the presentation.
