SPECIAL MEETING PROCEEDINGS
MARCH 3, 2014
CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the Rosemount Port Authority was held
on Tuesday,March 4, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall,2875 145th Street
West, Rosemount.
Chair Weisensel called the meeting to order with Commissioners Droste,Wolf,Peterson and
Demuth attending. Commissioner Riley was absent. The other key attendees included Council
Member Shoe-Corrigan, Council Member DeBettignies, Executive Director Johnson, Deputy
Director Lindquist, City Clerk Domeier, Chief of Police Werner, Planner Zweber, City Planner
Lindahl and Director of Public Works/City Engineer Brotzler.
ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO AGENDA
Executive Director Johnson stated there were no proposed changes.
Motion by Weisensel. Second by Wolf.
Motion to Adopt the Agenda.
Ayes: 5. Nays: 0.Absent: Riley.
NEW BUSINESS
4.a. Presentation by Brittany Roark, Director of Sales, Buxton
Ms. Roark provided a presentation about the services provided by Buxton. Discussion was held
about Buxton's different economic development resources, connections, clients, and initiatives.
Ms. Roark stated that if the Port Authority were interested in moving forward with Buxton that a
proposal would be provided.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Port Authority and upon a motion by Wolf,
second by Droste, the meeting was unanimously adjourned at 6:17 p.m.
