ATTACHMENTS: None APPROVED BY: DA) RECOMMENDED ACTION: New Port Authority members, Tom Luing and Bob Smith shall take the Oath of Office. ISSUE Minnesota State Statute 358.05 requires that City officials, appointed or elected,must take and sign an Oath of Office before transacting any business or exercising any privilege of office. BACKGROUND The City of Rosemount's City Council appointed Tom Luing and Bob Smith as Port Authority members effective April 1, 2014. Tom Luing is replacing Mary Riley and beginning a new six year term that will expire on March 31, 2020. Bob Smith is replacing Bob Leuth and will continue his six year term that will expire on March 31, 2017.
