RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt a Resolution approving the Vacation of the
Drainage and Utility Easements within Lot 1, Block 1 of Kilcumreragh Addition.
SUMMARY
In 2007, the City of Rosemount approved the Kilcumreragh Addition plat to create two lots out of the
former St.Joseph's parish site. Lot 1 was retained by the City and Lot 2 was given to Dakota County for
Robert Trail Library. With the approval of the Final Plat of the Kilkumreragh Addition, drainage and utility
easements were recorded on both the City and the Robert Trail Library lots. To accommodate the
development of the senior housing and record the Rosemount Senior Living Plat, a vacation of the drainage
and utility easements within Lot 1, Block 1 of Kilcumreragh Addition is necessary. Appropriate new
drainage and utility easements will be recorded with the Rosemount Senior Living Final Plat.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the drainage and utility easement vacation with the conditions listed within
the provided resolution.

RESOLUTION 2014 -
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF THE
DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN
LOT 1, BLOCK 1 OF KILCUMRERAGH ADDITION
WHEREAS, the Community Development Department of the City of Rosemount received an
application from the City Rosemount and the Rosemount Port Authority for the Final Plat of
Rosemount Senior Living;
WHEREAS, on April 15, 2014, the City of Rosemount City Council reviewed and approved the
Final Plat for Rosemount Senior Living;and
WHEREAS, the vacation of the existing drainage and utility easements legally described below is
required before the Final Plat can be recorded for Rosemount Senior Living; and
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed this request and conducted a public hearing on April 15,
2014.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Council of the City of Rosemount hereby
approves the Vacation of the Drainage and Utility Easements, legally described as:
Lot 1, Block 1, KILCUMRERAGH ADDITION, Dakota County, Minnesota.
subject to the recording of the Final Plat of Rosemount Senior Living.
ADOPTED this 15`h day of April, 2014,by the City Council of the City of Rosemount.
