RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt a Resolution approving the Vacation of the
Drainage and Utility Easements within Outlot A and Outlot C, Prestwick Place 3`d Addition.
SUMMARY
With the approval of the Final Plat of Prestwick Place 3" Addition, drainage and utility easements were
recorded on the adjacent undeveloped outlots,which is common. To accommodate the development of
Prestwick Place 9`h Addition, a vacation of the drainage and utility easements on Outlot A and Outlot C of
Prestwick Place 3d Addition is necessary. Appropriate new drainage and utility easements will be recorded
with the Prestwick Place 9th Addition final plat.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the drainage and utility easement vacation with the conditions listed within
the provided resolution.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF THE
DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN
OUTLOT A AND OUTLOT C OF PRESTWICK PLACE 3`d ADDITION
WHEREAS, the Community Development Department of the City of Rosemount received an
application from U.S. Home Corporation for the Final Plat of Prestwick Place 9"'Addition;
WHEREAS, on April 15, 2014, the City of Rosemount City Council reviewed and approved the
Final Plat for Prestwick Place 9`h Addition; and
WHEREAS, the vacation of the existing drainage and utility easements legally described below is
required before the Final Plat can be recorded for Prestwick Place 9`h Addition; and
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed this request and conducted a public hearing on April 15,
2014.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Council of the City of Rosemount hereby
approves the Vacation of the Drainage and Utility Easements, legally described as:
Outlot A and Outlot C, PRESTWICK PLACE 3"'ADDITION, Dakota County,
Minnesota.
subject to the recording of the Final Plat of Prestwick Place 9'h Addition.
ADOPTED this 15th day of April, 2014,by the City Council of the City of Rosemount.
