RECOMMENDED ACTION: Present commendation
A member of the Rosemount High School swimming and diving team, Daniel Monaghan, won his
second state championship in March. Dan placed first in the boys' 1-meter diving competition for double-
A schools, surpassing a competitor who had the lead after the competition's semifinals. He became
Rosemount High School's first state champion in boys diving after his victory last year, he holds other
records for the school for his performance, and he served as a team captain during this, his senior year.
He will graduate this spring and compete for the University of Minnesota next year.
