RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approval of the 2014-2015 officer appointments
ISSUE
Officer assignments are valid for a one year period; therefore need to be re-appointed
annually.
BACKGROUND
As Fire Chief, I have personally made contact with each individual currently holding an officer
position. Each of them expressed interest in continuing their position for another year. We
have a strong group of officers on the Rosemount Fire Department and they continue to grow
in experience each year.
SUMMARY
I recommend the appointment of the attached officer's list for the term of May 1, 2014, to April
30, 2015.

Subject: Fire Department Officer Appointments
Attached are the appointments for Fire Department officers, committee members and coordinator
positions effective May 1, 2014 thru April 30, 2015. I completed follow up correspondence with
each officer and all current officers expressed intent to fulfill their duties for another year.
Assistant Chief Jim Voelker and I collectively recommend that we move forward with the
following appointments.
