CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Rosemount City Council was held
th
on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 2875 145 Street
West, Rosemount.
Mayor Droste called the meeting to order with Council Members DeBettignies, Shoe-Corrigan,
Weisensel and Demuth attending. Staff present included City Administrator Johnson, City Clerk
Domeier and Director of Public Works/City Engineer Brotzler. The Pledge of Allegiance was said.
ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO AGENDA
City Administrator Johnson stated there were no proposed Agenda changes.
Motion by Droste. Second by Weisensel.
Motion to Adopt the Agenda.
Ayes: 5
Nays: 0. Motion carried.
CONSENT AGENDA
Motion by DeBettignies. Second by Demuth.

Mayor Droste questioned the outreach to the affected voters in item 6.e. Ms. Domeier explained
that post cards will be sent to the affected voters in Precinct 4. Other precinct information will be
available on the City website, newspaper and newsletter.
Ayes: DeBettignies, Shoe-Corrigan, Droste, Weisensel, Demuth
Nays: None. Motion carried.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Director of Public Works/City Engineer provided an update on the number of frozen water
services. He provided information about the public outreach to residents on the issue. Council

Member Demuth questioned if the City would reimburse residents for the water usage. Mr. Brotzler
stated that at this time, staff is not going to reimburse residents for the additional water usage. The
City is covering the cost for the contractor to fix the issue and staff costs to meeting with residents.
Mr. Brotzler also provided information on the pothole concerns on Shannon Parkway. Further
discussion was held about snow removal. The City Council thanked the Public Works crews for
their great service.
Mayor Droste reviewed the calendar of events.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the City Council and upon a motion by Droste,
second by DeBettignies, the meeting was unanimously adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
