RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to transfer property from the Police Evidence Room to
the Police Department.
ISSUE
The Police Department is requesting that the City Council allow the transfer of two (2) police evidence
items from the Police Evidence Room for the purpose of internal use by the Department.
BACKGROUND
The Police Department has recently received two (2) Apple iPads. These iPads were recovered as evidence
during Police investigations. The Rosemount Police Department has not been able to identify the iPad
owners. These items have cleared all court and/or property requirements and would be beneficial to the
Department.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends Council authorize the transfer of property items from the Police Evidence Room to the
Police Department for internal use.
