Authorizing the Plans and Specifications for Prestwick Place 10th Addition Street and Utility
Improvements, City Project 457
BACKGROUND:
On February 19, 2008 the Rosemount City Council authorized the preparation of an Engineering
Feasibility Report for the Prestwick Place Street and Utility Improvements, City Project 409. This report
outlined the construction of public streets and utility improvements necessary for the development of the
Prestwick Place residential and commercial development. This report is on file in the Engineering
Department.
Prestwick Place 10th Addition Street and Utility Improvements, City Project 457,is a continuation of the
overall Prestwick development. It includes 26 single-family lots located south of Connemara Trail,just
east of the Bloomfield development.
The total estimated project cost for Prestwick Place 10th Addition is $982,345. The entire amount will be
funded by the developer through a cash payment for overhead, and assessments for the construction cost
and trunk fees as outlined in the subdivision agreement.
SUMMARY:
Staff recommends Council adopt a resolution ordering the project and authorizing the preparation of plans
and specifications for Prestwick Place 10`h Addition Street and Utility Improvements, City Project 457.

RESOLUTION 2014 -
A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE
PREPARATION OF THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
PRESTWICK PLACE 10TH ADDITION, CITY PROJECT 457
WHEREAS, the City Council deemed it necessary and expedient that the City of Rosemount,
Minnesota, construct certain improvements, to-wit: City Project 457, Prestwick Place 10`'' Addition
Street and Utility Improvements as described in and in accordance with the Prestwick Place
feasibility report, City Project 409, prepared by the City Engineer; and the City Council of the City
of Rosemount.
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised by the City Engineer that said street and utility
improvements are feasible and should best be made as proposed, and the City Engineer's report to
this effect has heretofore been received by Council,and filed with the City Clerk on February 19,
2008.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Rosemount hereby
orders the improvements of the Prestwick Place 10`''Addition Street and Utility Improvements, City
Project 457.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the City Engineer is hereby ordered to prepare plans and
specifications for the making of such improvements within the Prestwick Place 10`' Addition Street
and Utility Improvements, City Project 457.
ADOPTED this 15`'' day of July, 2014.
