IT Q� ATTACHMENTS: Resolution, Easement Exhibits, Greystone 3rd APPROVED BY: Addition Final Plat RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt a Resolution approving the Vacation of the Drainage and Utility Easements over Outlot A, Greystone 3`d Addition. SUMMARY With the approval of the Final Plat for Greystone 1"Addition, drainage and utility easements were recorded on the adjacent property to the north that was undeveloped and zoned Agricultural Preserve. Earlier on the Council Agenda, the City Council approved the rezoning and plats for the northern property into Greystone 3`d Addition. To accommodate the development of Greystone 3rd Addition, a vacation of the drainage and utility easements of Outlot A, Greystone 1"Addition is necessary. Appropriate new drainage and utility easements will be recorded with the Greystone 3`d Addition final plat. RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends approval of the drainage and utility easement vacation with the conditions listed within the provided resolution. CITY OF ROSEMOUNT DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 2014 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF THE DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS OVER OUTLOT A, GREYSTONE 1ST ADDITION WHEREAS, the Community Development Department of the City of Rosemount received an application from The Ryland Group, Inc. for the Final Plat of Greystone 3`d Addition; WHEREAS, on July 15,2014, the City of Rosemount City Council reviewed and approved the Final Plat for Greystone 3`d Addition;and WHEREAS, the vacation of the existing drainage and utility easements legally described below is required before the Final Plat can be recorded for Greystone 3`d Addition; and WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed this request and conducted a public hearing on July 15, 2014. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Council of the City of Rosemount hereby approves the Vacation of the Drainage and Utility Easements,legally described as: All drainage and utility easements lying over,under,and across Oudot A, GREYSTONE 1s"' ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof, Dakota County,Minnesota,as delineated and dedicated on said plat of GREYSTONE 1sr ADDITION. subject to the recording of the Final Plat of Greystone 3`d Addition. ADOPTED this 15`" day of July, 2014,by the City Council of the City of Rosemount. William H.
