RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to approve TOPS Pizza & Hoagies On-Sale on Public
Premise Liquor License to serve intoxicating beverages valid August 5, 2014 through
December 31, 2014.
SUMMARY
TOPS Pizza & Hoagies has made application for an On-Sale License on Public Premise liquor
license. The required $350.00 fee and insurance documents have been submitted. The license term
will run from date of approval to December 31, 2014. TOPS intends to serve liquor at Community
Center and Steeple Center events.
City Code 3-1-15 On-Sale License on Public Premise states the City Council may issue to the holder
of an on-sale intoxicating liquor license issued by the city or a municipality adjacent to the city, a
license to allow the dispensing of intoxicating liquor at any convention, banquet, conference,
meeting or social affair conducted on the premises of a sports, convention or cultural facility owned
by the City. No public hearing is required for the granting of an on-sale license on public premises.
