Rosemount is fortunate to have a large number of young people who reach the highest levels of Scouting
programs. The "Eagle Scout" designation is the highest advancement rank for Boy Scouts.
The City Council tonight continues its tradition of honoring these accomplishments by commending a
Rosemount student who achieved the Eagle rank.
Alex Sable led a team that installed bat house stands in East Lake Community Park,near the
Lakeville-Rosemount border, to promote pesticide-free mosquito control. The group prepared 24
bat houses that were built by area Girl Scouts for installation, assembled 12 bat house stands and
installed the stands in pre-selected locations around East Lake. Alex will be a senior at Rosemount
High School this fall, and is thinking of becoming a naturalist after high school.
