ATTACHMENTS: None APPROVED BY: RECOMMENDED ACTION: Presentation of commemorative plaque Council member Kim Shoe-Corrigan chose to end her service on the Rosemount City Council with the expiration of her term on December 31, 2014. A resident of the community since 1989, Council member Shoe-Comgan was appointed to the Rosemount Planning Corrunission in 1996 and served until 2001. The following year she won a seat on the City Council and then was reelected twice. Along with perfornung the duties of a City Council member,she served on the task forces that investigated opportunities for powntown redevelopment and that proposed a site for a branch of the Dakota County Library System. She also worked on committees involved in the design of the library,the writing of standards for powntown design,and the development of the UMore properry. She has been an advocate for diverse recreational opportunities while maintaining services and making the City's tax rate more competitive for economic development. A teacher of social studies and college-level political science, Council member Shoe-Comgan and her husband have raised three children in our community. We are confident she will contribute to Rosemount's bright future just as she has contributed so much to the successes we enjoy today.
