RECOMMENDED ACTION: Motion to adopt a resolution to limit the parking on the east
side of Cameo Avenue.
ISSUE
During a recent pre - construction meeting for the Steeple Center addition and the new senior housing
projects, it was brought up that the site is very tight and the delivery of building materials was a concern.
Everyone at the meeting agreed that that once full construction is underway, delivery of some construction
materials might need to come off trucks that are parked on Cameo Avenue.
Staff is recommending that the City Council consider passing a resolution that would limit the parking on
the east side of Cameo Avenue. The parking would be limited in front of the Steeple Center property
only, which would start at the corner of 143 "' Street and Cameo Avenue and continue south for three
hundred and fifty feet. The no parking restriction would be in effect on weekdays from 7:00am — 4:30pm
starting on January 7, 2015 and ending on January 8, 2016.
SUMMARY
Staff is recommending the City Council consider adopting a resolution to temporarily limit the parking on
Cameo Avenue.
