Resilient Communities Project - As the fall semester of classes at the University of Minnesota comes

presentations as part of the Resilient Communities Project. Some of these presentations are being made
here in Rosemount and many others require staff to travel to the U of M campus.
Jaycee Park Temporary Rink — The temporary hockey rink that was purchased for Jaycee Park has
been installed. The installation was completed on Tuesday, December 2, just in time to start flooding the
rink.
Breakfast with Santa - Breakfast with Santa was held on Saturday, December 13 in the gym of the
community center. Over 200 people participated in photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, crafts, games and a
continental breakfast of rolls, scones, muffins, cereal and fruit. This program has become a tradition for
many families who are familiar with the program, and it is fun to see new families with young children
create a tradition together, too.
